Spend more time with God...
You are never going to have growth in your relationship with God if you are only seeking Him on the days that you feel like doing it.
To have a relationship with God, and to grow towards the purpose that God has for our life, we have to seek Him daily. I am by no means saying that it is easy, but it is important if we want to experience spiritual growth.
The enemy's greatest weapon against us is time. The more time he manages to steal from us, the less time we have to spend with God.
Make time to spend in the presence of God.
.....Be patient in the presence of God!
Dwell in the presence of God:
Do you find yourself wanting a place to feel safe, a place to be filled with peace, or for the presence to shine from within you?
14 Above all these, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together perfectly;
15 and let the shalom (peace) which comes from the Messiah be your heart’s decision-maker, for this is why you were called to be part of a single Body. ~Colossians 3:15 CJB
7 If u abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. ~ John 15:7-8 NKJV
What does it really mean to abide in Him?
To abide in Christ means to keep up a habit of constant close communion with Him–to always lean on Him, resting on Him, pouring out our hearts to Him, and using Him as our Fountain of life and strength, as our chief Companion and best Friend.
Be slow to speak:
Be slower to speak, and become more patient. Start listening to others, and learn to listen in prayer.
19 Therefore, my dear brothers, let every person be quick to listen but slow to speak, slow to get angry;
20 for a person’s anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness!
21 So rid yourselves of all vulgarity and obvious evil and receive meekly the Word implanted in you that can save your lives.
22 Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it! ~James 1:19-22
Be patient, and listen to what Elohim (God) has to say to you:
Patiently wait on His voice and His guidance.
Be faithful to see the results of listenting to His word, rather than taking 'short cuts'.
24 No one can be a slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money. ~Matthew 6:24
Stop allowing Satan to steal your time with God!!!!!!
